At the moment, the boys are down for a rainy-day nap (the best kind in my book)! Joseph is the only one not actually sleeping. In fact, I can hear him singing along with last year's VBS songs while he has his headset on. Too cute! Last week the boys had a blast at VBS at my parents' church. I haven't had a chance to load his mp3 with the songs from this year, but that will happen pretty quick. Yeehaw, Saddle Ridge Ranch!
On Friday, just after I got everyone home, fed and napping (praise God!), I was able to finally speak with my doctor's office and was given information on the MD Anderson Pathology report of the biopsy that was done earlier. They found that there is thymic tissue and cells consistent with thymoma. Bummer!
Now we are still in a waiting mode to see how the thymus changes in the next several weeks. I will go in to repeat CT scans in August (along with a battery of lab work and a few x-rays). Based on the changes at that time, an appropriate game plan will be initiated.
So....
Please pray for the thymus to shrink.
Pray for rest in the time of waiting!
