Happy Fathers Day!

Oh, Happy Fathers Day!

What a beautiful day it has been in our stretch of the woods. We spent this day like any other Sunday, with just one exception. We loved on our daddy like it was nobody's business.

After church, we met up for lunch at our favorite Mexican restaurant (where kids eat free on Sundays) and had yummy chips and salsa with our daddy and my Daddy! It's been such a blessing to live close to my parents for these last 2 years. It is something that I never assumed would happen. But, since God is able to exceedingly abundantly more than we could ever ask or think (Ephesians 3:20-21) , He saw to it that we landed in the same city. What a joy!

Yesterday, the boys and Larry went to help Pa work on Mater. (Translated for those not in the family: They helped my dad work on his old truck).

I happen to think of my dad as the best in the world. Perhaps my little sister put it best in a post on her blog, when she said that not many girls have a dad that doesn't complicate their view of God as their father. Excellent point, Han!

I am so grateful for the man that is my father.

I am so very grateful for the man that is the father of my boys!

My prayer is that my little guys will continue to follow after God and become godly daddies someday!
