Fun Saturday!

We have had a great day!

• We had waffles for breakfast! This is fun, since Gid wanted to get Larry a waffle iron for Father's day. Today was the first big waffle day, with the boys all seated around the breakfast table and with me and Larry standing at the island. Joseph and Jeremiah wanted chocolate chip waffles and the rest of us opted for plain. Strawberries and bananas are all gone and there isn't a drop of juice left in the joint. (Tonight I make my weekly grocery trip).
• We swam at the pool. Aaahhh, the pool! There aren't enough words to descibe my love for the pool. The boys and Larry slathered on their spf 50 sunscreen and I, my spf 6 tanning lotion. Aaahhh, I love the pool! We met Grammy, Pa and Hannah there and had a great time. Such fun! To be repeated, I hope!
• We had burgers for lunch. Aaaahhh, Burgers. I love burgers!
• We had a nap. Aaaahhh, I love naps!
• I made Chocolate Chip Coconut Cookies. Aaaahhhh! I think you get the picture!
• Tonight, we will have something easy for dinner (due to the end of the week scenario playing out in our pantry).
• Tonight, we will have baths and go to bed early in preparation of Sunday morning.
